Before committing assets
Cryptoassets can lose substantial value or become worthless. Use the service only if you understand it and can bear potential loss. Listing, a successful previous operation or a quoted price is not a recommendation to acquire an Asset. Aldenex does not provide personalised investment, legal or tax advice.
This disclosure describes material risks, not every possible event. It does not waive statutory rights or excuse failure to meet the operator’s own duties. Several risks can affect the same transaction.
Price and liquidity
Prices can change sharply while a deposit awaits confirmation or a withdrawal is reviewed. Thin markets, interruptions and sudden changes in demand can disrupt reference prices or conversion. An indicative value in another Asset or USDT is not a guaranteed redemption amount.
No interest, yield, minimum resale value or ability to exit at a chosen price is promised. A balance remains exposed to market movement even if its exchange direction or withdrawal route is unavailable.
Custody and counterparty exposure
Balances are recorded centrally and an account does not give you signing keys. Access depends on the operator, custody arrangements and reserves. Key loss, compromise, operational failure or inability to meet obligations can delay or prevent withdrawal.
A Ledger record is not proof of reserves or legal segregation. The application does not establish trust status, insolvency priority, deposit insurance or investor-compensation coverage. Insolvency or a custody dispute can affect both recovery and timing. Do not assume bank-deposit protection.
Irreversibility and destination errors
A wrong Network, address, token or memo can cause permanent loss. Similar symbols and identical-looking address formats do not make routes interchangeable. A token contract is not a personal receiving address.
Validation cannot prove recipient identity, control or compatibility. Malware and impersonation can substitute destinations. Check full instructions in the sending service. Once broadcast and final, a blockchain transfer generally cannot be reversed by Aldenex.
Networks and token implementations
Congestion, validator or miner failure, reorganisations, forks and protocol changes can delay or reverse an initially visible receipt. Finality requirements differ by route; visibility is not necessarily sufficient. A Network may stop functioning or cease to be supported.
Tokens can depend on smart contracts, administrators, issuers, bridges and collateral. Vulnerabilities, freezing, upgrades and bridge failures can affect transferability or value. Wrapped or bridged assets are not automatically supported native equivalents. A listing does not guarantee support for a fork, airdrop or migration.
Stablecoins and reference units
A stablecoin can lose its peg because of reserve, redemption, issuer, liquidity or legal problems and can be frozen by its issuer. USDT-based cross-pricing does not make account balances cash or guarantee redemption in US dollars.
Different stablecoins have different exposures. Conversion can include adjustments and rounding even if both are marketed as tracking the same currency.
Quotes and execution
Quotes expire and depend on external references. Unreliable data, disabled directions or insufficient Available Balance can cause rejection. A preview is not an executable commitment, and pricing changes may require a fresh Quote.
The receive amount reflects adjustments and operation precision. Rounding can leave residual amounts. An internal conversion is not blockchain settlement or a guarantee of immediate external liquidity.
Processing and service continuity
Deposits need receipt and entitlement review; withdrawals are reviewed and sent manually. Incomplete evidence, finality, outages and legal or security checks can cause delays. Messages do not themselves establish credit or broadcast. No fixed completion time or 24/7 commitment is offered.
Authentication, hosting and communications can fail. A lost response can leave the result uncertain until History is checked. Repeated new requests may create additional reservations rather than accelerate processing. Keep references and contact support before duplicating an uncertain instruction.
Security, privacy and legal risks
Compromised credentials, devices or email can expose assets and data. Phishing can use convincing branding or a genuine transaction reference. Never disclose recovery phrases, keys or tokens. Linking public blockchain addresses to your identity can expose transaction history.
Legal and tax treatment varies by location and can change. Restrictions, reporting duties and disputes can affect your activity. Seek independent advice where appropriate. Acknowledging risk does not remove mandatory rights.
Questions and incidents
Stop if a destination, Network, fee, verification requirement or status is unclear. Report an issue with the account and request reference, Asset, Network and actual public transaction ID. Do not send another payment to unlock a disputed balance without an independently verified lawful explanation.
